hi there! i’m kate, and I take pictures!

I took my first photography class in college while studying abroad in barcelona back in 2018 and after that wine and tapas fueled summer was over, I just kept going! nowadays I specialize in portrait and dance photography (I was a pre-professional ballet dancer for 15 years. yes! 15!) but I occasionally dabble in other areas and i’m always learning and growing and down for an artistic challenge. i’m currently based in austin, texas but i’ve got a cute car and I love a good road trip so i’m happy to travel for a shoot! my goal with this site is for it to just be a place where I can share pictures of all the beautiful people i’ve been able to photograph.

likes: black and white photos, big dogs (of the mutt variety), a good red lipstick, indie pop music, summertime

dislikes: spiderwebs, desk jobs, heavily photoshopped pictures, capital letters, plain black coffee
